This year’s ride has a special meaning and support a cause I believe in with all my heart. I only ask that we give one woman, one child a chance to change the path they are on. I am not asking for any money nor for anyone to feel like they are expected to do anything other than enjoy the ride. But, I wanted to share a little something so you know were the proceeds are going this year.

I have attached the link, watch the video, it’s amazing.  Sad but good in many ways. This ride goes to help RunForCongoWomen! There is a story to tell that needs to be heard. Learn more! Our company would like to be the first to help with the upcoming event in Portland, Oregon this year.

The most important thing we must do is work together to ensure the safety of all riders. Thereafter, the race is on to Brooking, but remembers the turtle always win. :)   I don’t want you to finish the ride with only memories of colors. Stop to view the beaches, light houses, cliff, many viewpoints, whale watching, and more as you travel.

We will travel west on hwy 26 straight to Cannon Beach. Upon arrival we will start with a group picture, review some safety rules of the road and enjoy lots of laugher. Our ride will start right in the center of Cannon Beach (2nd & Hemlock) near the water.

The view of Haystack Rock and the summer tours are sure to add a few more laughs.

Ride to be well; raise money to do good.

At Hub World Travel, we care about people and places. We organize events to raise funds for humanitarian work abroad and at home. This bike ride is a benefit for the Ethiopia Project, an Oregon based nonprofit.

Sneakers and classrooms

In Ethiopia, everyday items like shoes are often a luxury that many cannot afford. The Ethiopia Project collects new and gently-used footwear for donation to orphanages and low-income communities. Hub World Travel’s Scholarship Fund helps kids in Ethiopia attend school and get a basic education.

Voluntourism

Turn your next vacation into more than a sightseeing tour. Hub World Travel offers community-based tourism and volunteer opportunities.

Cost: $550.00 (Per Person)
