Steve Jobs Announces Apple’s New “iPad” Touchscreen Tablet

January 27, 2010 Steven Jobs unveiled Apple’s latest gadget – their touchscreen tablet called the “iPad”. The iPad is priced at $499 and should be available in 60 to 90 days. There is no AT&T contract required however AT&T is offering plans for both the Wi-Fi and 3G models. This “over-sized iPod Touch” has functions that range from email to movies, music, and displaying photos along with recipes and books.
