I only ask that we give one woman, one child a chance to change the path they are on. I am not asking for any money nor for anyone to feel like they are expected to do anything other than enjoy the ride. But, I wanted to share a little something so you know were the proceeds are going this year.

There is a story to tell that needs to be heard. Learn more! Our company would like to be the first to help with the upcoming event in Portland, Oregon this year.
At Hub World Travel, we care about people and places. We organize events to raise funds for humanitarian work abroad and at home. This bike ride is a benefit for the Ethiopia Project, an Oregon based nonprofit.

Sneakers and classrooms

In Ethiopia, everyday items like shoes are often a luxury that many cannot afford. The Ethiopia Project collects new and gently-used footwear for donation to orphanages and low-income communities. Hub World Travel’s Scholarship Fund helps kids in Ethiopia attend school and get a basic education.

Voluntourism

Turn your next vacation into more than a sightseeing tour. Hub World Travel offers community-based tourism and volunteer opportunities.

Cost: $550.00 (Per Person)

316.9 miles, endless beauty

Rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, serpentine rivers, lush forests… the Oregon Coast offers breathtaking scenery and exhilarating bicycle touring. We start at the picturesque artist community of Cannon Beach and winds its way to the waterfront town of Brookings, nestled between the Oregon Coastal Range and the Pacific Ocean. We’ll explore charming coastal towns, visit sea lion caves, go beach combing and whale-watching, and pause to admire the natural beauty and panoramic views. Stops include:

Tillamook Cheese Factory:
Taste special reserve cheeses, yogurt, and ice cream. Watch cheese being made.

Yaquina Head lighthouse:
Ascend the historic circular staircase up the lighthouse tower for superb wildlife and ocean viewing.

Newport:
A beautiful little town with incredible views and abundant wildlife. Watch for sea birds, harbor seals, sea lions, and gray whales.

Heceta Head:
Explore the lighthouse and park with its trails, tide pools, sandy beaches, and breathtaking views.

Sea Lion Caves:
Descend into the vast cavern for an unforgettable experience watching sea lions and sea birds in their wild home.

Bandon:
Also known as Bandon-by-the-Sea. This coastal town will delight you with its charm and scenic beauty. It boasts two of the world’s premier golf courses.

Gold Beach:
In Oregon’s Banana Belt, this remote sea town offers quiet beaches, vast forests, and rugged mountains.
