Goodwill Events and Voluntourism
Want to give a little bit back while exploring the world? Touch the lives of others and enrich your own by adding goodwill work to your global adventure. America’s Hub World Travel connects adventure travelers interested in voluntourism with organizations in their target destination. Below are few examples of packages we hosted in previous years and which can be customized to suit your travel plans.

New Orleans Adventure Tour and Voluntourism
Individual or Group Customized Trips (7 Days)
There are many who have suffered from the tragic hurricane of Kathrina. The New Orleans community is rebuilding, but needs help. By visiting New Orleans you can help rebuild a community by creating jobs and re- establishing business. There are many Voluntourism opportunities in the immediate area to help those still struggling to rebuild. Contact us for details.

Portland Inaugural Ball Committee
This event was organized with the intent to support local charities and also inspire people to get involved and make a difference. Proceeds from this event benefited the Oregon Food Bank and the Royal Rosarian Foundation Field Trip Program. AHWT partnered with Hands On Greater Portland to provide guests with information and sign-up opportunities for local community volunteering activities.

Ethiopia Projects Benefit Events
In Ethiopia, a basic education is out of reach for many, and everyday items like shoes are often a luxury that many cannot afford. Americas Hub World Travel has partnered with the nonprofit Ethiopia Project to provide footwear to orphanages and low-income communities in Ethiopia. Learn More.

Women in Progress
Women in Progress works at the grassroots level to help women in Ghana achieve economic independence. Americas Hub World Travel has partnered with WIP on local Portland events. Learn More.

Portland Run for Congo Women
